Asia University provides a limited number of scholarships each year for talented international  students. All applicants may have an opportunity to compete for  scholarships provided by Asia University, depending on qualification of  applicants, program admitted, and available funding. Applicants who have  received other scholarships are not eligible to apply.
- Scholarship I — tuition waiver, dormitory fee waiver, and monthly stipend of NT$6,000
 - Scholarship II — tuition waiver, dormitory fee waiver
 - Scholarship III — tuition waiver
 - Scholarship IV — 50% tuition waiver
 
To apply for scholarship provided by Asia University, a completed form with all required application materials must be sent directly to the Center for International Academic Exchange. Awarded students in Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral  programs are supported for at most four, two, and three years,  respectively. An average score of less than 75 and 80 in previous  academic year for undergraduate and graduate  students, respectively, will result in disqualification of receiving  scholarship. To enhance internationalization as well as cultural  exchange on campus, students awarded the part of monthly stipend are  required to participate in activities 30 hours a semester arranged by  the Office of International College.
Free Language Courses
Students choosing programs conducted in English/Chinese must be proficient enough in English/Chinese, respectively. To help professors understand language proficiency of new students, placement test of English/Chinese will be held after international student orientation. On the basis of test result, some students may be required to take few language courses that are free of charge.

In the recent years, Chinese has gained  its status as a world language. Asia University realizes the importance  of learning Chinese and thus also encourages international students who  choose English-taught programs to take free Chinese courses taught by  instructors holding official license for teaching Chinese.
