Beasiswa Beijing Foreign Scholarship di Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB)

Pemerintah Kota Beijing menyediakan “Beijing Foreign Student Scholarship” untuk menarik pelajar asing yang berbakat untuk belajar dan melakukan penelitian di Beijing, serta mengembangkan persahabatan dengan warga RRT. Program ini diharapkan lebih lanjut dapat berdampak pada banyak hal seperti pengembangan sosial warga Beijing, politik, ekonomi, budaya, pendidikan dan mewujudkan cita-cita Beijing sebagai kota Metropolitan Internasional, dan mengembangkan daya saing kota Beijing.

Visi, Misi den Strategi Pemerintah Kota Beijing dalam hal pemberian beasiswa untuk peneliti dan pelajar asing, sejalan dengan rencana strategi Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB) dalam upaya internasionalisasi program pendidikan tingginya. CUEB merupakan Universitas Komprehensif dengan konsentrasi kajian utarna dibidang Ekonomi dan Manajemen dan salah satu universitas yang berkategori “Key University” di RRT yang berlokasi di kawasan Central Bussiness District (CBD) Beijing, dengan jurnlah mahasiswa sekitar 20.000 orang dan 600 mahasiswa asing yang berasal dari 76 negara. CUEB memiliki 34 Program Studi Sarjana, 28 Program Studi Magister, dan 9 Program Studi Doktor. Beberapa Institut Riset berafiliasi dengan CUEB, seperti Institute of Economics, Population Studies, Capital Economy and Real Estate Studies, WTO Research Center.

CUEB menyediakan Beijing Foreign Student Scholarship dengan penjelasan sebagai berikut :
a. Beasiswa Beijing Foreign Student Scholarship:

1. Beasiswa ini berkategori Partial Scholarship yang hanya meliputi pembebasan biaya kuliah dengan rincian sebagai berikut :
   1. Program Doktor dan Magister, dibebaskan 100% uang kuliah (tuition fee);
   2. Program Sarjana dibebaskan 90% uang kuliah (tuition fee) atau senilai RMB. 20.000,- ;
   3. Program Bahasa dibebaskan 50% uang kuliah (tuition fee) atau senilai RMB. 10.000,-;
2. Mahasiswa penerima beasiswa (Doktor / Magister / Sarjana) setiap tahunnya akan dilakukan evaluasi hasil belajar, bila tidak memenuhi syarat dan ketentuan akademik beasiswa akan diberhentikan.

b. Beasiswa untuk program Doktor dan Magister dengan durasi beasiswa selama 3 tahun; Beasiswa program Sarjana dengan durasi 4 tahun dan beasiswa program bahasa mandarin dengan durasi selama 1 tahun.

c. Semua perkuliahan akan diberikan dengan bahasa pengantar Bahasa Mandarin, kecuali program Magister bidang Ekonomi akan diberikan dalarn bahasa inggris.

d. Kualifikasi Pelamar:

1. Pelamar bukan Warga Negara RRC dan dalam kondisi Sehat
2. Latar belakang pendidikan dan usia:
   1. Kandidat Doktor harus memiliki ijazah Magister dan usia dibawah 55 tahun;
   2. Kandidat Magister harus rnemiliki ijazah Sarjana dan usia dibawah 55 tahun;
   3. Kandidat Sarjana harus memiliki ijazah SMA dan usia dibawah 55 tahun;
   4. Mahasiswa program Bahasa Mandarin harus memiliki ijazah SMA dan usia dibawah 55 tahun;
   5. Kandidat yang sedang mernperoleh beasiswa dari Pemerintah RRT atau Pemerintah RI dan kandidat yang Drop-out tidak termasuk kategori penerima beasiswa.

e. Berkas Lamaran:
Berkas lamaran beasiswa harus dilengkapi dengan dokumen sebagai berikut:

1. Formulir pendaftaran untuk belajar di CUEB
2. Salinan ljazah terakhir dan transkrip akademik dalam Bahasa Inggris yang telah dilegalisir
3. Pelamar yang sudah bekerja, harus menyertakan surat keterangan dari instansi-nya dalam Bahasa Inggris atau Mandarin
4. Kandidat Doktor dan magister harus menyertakan 2 surat rekomendasi dari Professor atau Associate Professor dalam Bahasa Inggris atau Mandarin.
5. Membuat Rencana Studi atau penelitian yang ditulis dalam Bahasa Inggris atau Mandarin (minimal 400 kata).
6. Salinan basil tes kesehatan

f. Semua berkas persyaratan dan formulir pendaftaran dikirimkan ke KBRI Beijing,

China Government Scholarship ”Nanjing University Master and PhD Program”

Chinese Government Scholarship is a scholarship set up by the Chinese government to facilitate students and scholars from all over the world to conduct their study and research in Chinese universities. The scholarship aims to increase the mutual understanding and friendship between people of China and people from the rest of the world and to develop the communication and cooperation between China and the rest of the world in the field of Education, Technology, Culture and Economics.

From the year 2008 under approval of the Ministry of Education of China, Nanjing University will start to offer Chinese Government Scholarships to outstanding master or PhD students. Nanjing University is one of the top universities in China under the direct supervision of Ministry Education of China. Nanjing University was founded in the year 1902 and it is well-known for its strong academic portfolio and outstanding professors.

Nanjing University is located in the heart of a historical city Nanjing. It is surrounded by a beautiful scenery, excellent environment and accessible transportation. The University is currently host to 23 schools and 65 departments offering 162 majors for master degrees and 93 PhD degrees. A master degree takes 3 years while a PhD degree takes 3 to 4 years. Nanjing University uses a credit system, acquiring the total number of credits for the degree and successfully passing the oral defense of the Graduation Paper for a student to graduate.

QUALIFICATIONS

(1) Academic Background: Applicant must have completed a four-year undergraduate degree for master degree pursuer and a master degree or equivalent for PhD degree pursuer.

(2) Chinese Language: Applicant must be willing to learn Chinese language, if applicable, and receive education in Chinese language.

(3)　Health: Applicant must be mentally and physically healthy.

※Students currently studying in China are not applicable. Students who have been granted for other Chinese scholarship or funding（2012-2013） are not applicable.

TERM OF SCHOLARSHIP

　　Scholarship will be tenable for three years and four years from the date of award for masters’ degree and PhD degree, respectively. One-year preparatory education in Chinese language prior to grantees’ study of his major will be provided with full scholarship benefits if deemed necessary.

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

(1) Allowance: Grantee will be provided a monthly stipend of RMB 1,700 and RMB 2,000 for masters’ degree student and PhD degree student, respectively.

(2) School Fees: Fees for matriculation and tuition will be paid by the Chinese government.

(3) Health Insurance: A health insurance will be provided to the grantee by CSC for the entire duration of his/her scholarship.

(4) Accommodation: A free accommodation will be provided to a grantee in the International Dormitory of the University for the entire duration of the scholarship.

Applicants must log on the on-line application system to do an on-line registration and application（laihua.csc.edu.cn）. After fill in the application form on-line (agency number for Nanjing University is 10284), applicant must click the “submit” button and print out application from the application system. After the on-line application is complete, applicants must submit the following documents to the Scholarship Coordinator (address below) by the required date. The submitted documents will not be returned.

Harbin Engineering University Scholarship (short for HEU Scholarship) was established by Harbin Engineering University, aiming to encourage and support excellent foreign students to study at Harbin Engineering University.

1. Keep-on-studying International Students
(1) According to the students’ conditions, they themselves get the “Application Form for HEU International Student Scholarship” from International Students’ Section of the IECO (the application form for short) (which can be downloaded from the website: http://studyHEU.hrbeu.edu.cn);
(2) After completing the application form, please submit the complete application form and transcript of last academic year to your college or department. Master or PhD candidates should submit two recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors in the research field as well.

2. New International Students Applying to HEU
(1)According to the their conditions, foreign students apply for admission, at the same time, they should have an application from International Students’ Section of the IECO;
(2)After filling in the application form, please submit the completed application form, photocopy of passport and corresponding transcripts by post to IECO of HEU. The applicants for Master or PhD programs should submit their graduation certificates or diploma, the topic and abstract of graduation thesis as well as two recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors in the relating research fields.

3. The deadline of application is the end of May each year. In general, the assessment of scholarship will be held in June. Please pay attention to the university notice.

4. After finishing the degree program, the keep-on-studying HEU scholarship students, with the excellent achievements and planning to apply for the higher degree at HEU, will have priority to participate in the selection of scholarship.

UNESCO/PR China, melalui The Great Wall Co-Sponsored Fellowship Programme 2011, menawarkan 25 penerima beasiswa studi pasca sarjana non-gelar kepada 76 negara anggota UNESCO terpilih termasuk Indonesia selama satu tahun di beberapa perguruan tinggi di Cina. Seleksi terpilih diutamakan wanita dengan persyaratan lulusan S1 atau S2, dapat berkomunikasi bahasa Inggris lisan dan tulisan, berusia tidak boleh lebih dari 45 tahun dan sehat jasmani dan rohani. Kandidat tidak diperkenankan membawa anggota keluarga dan diharuskan mematuhi prosedur penyerahan aplikasi (lampiran II). Lamaran diharapkan dapat diterima pihak UNESCO sebelum tanggal 30 Arpil 2011. 11. Belum pernah terlibat dalam tindakan kriminal dan dijatuhi hukuman berdasarkan keputusan pengadilan, dibuktikan dengan Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian;
12. Lulus seleksi ditingkat daerah dan pusat;
13. Semua calon peserta yang lulus seleksi daerah akan dipanggil untuk mengikuti medical check up (MCU) di Jakarta, pada rumah sakit yang ditunjuk oleh Kedutaan Besar negara tujuan di Jakarta (untuk program PPIK dan PPIA).
14. Calon peserta yang tidak lolos dalam MCU di Jakarta, maka nominasinya akan digantikan oleh calon peserta unggulan kedua dari provinsi dimaksud dengan jenis kelamin yang sama.

C. Persyaratan Administratif bagi peserta yang lulus seleksi

1. Akte kelahiran atau kenal lahir;
2. Izin tertulis bermaterai Rp.6000,- asli dari orang tua / instansi yang bersangkutan,
3. Menyerahkan Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian (SKCK) dari Kepolisian Daerah setempat;
4. Surat pernyataan peserta bermaterai Rp.6000,- yang telah ditandatangani pula oleh orang tua / instansi yang mengirimkan peserta, menyatakan kesediaan untuk mentaati peraturan yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga;
5. KTP yang masih berlaku;
6. Fotokopi paspor yang masih berlaku (paspor asli harap dibawa ketika acara Pre Departure Training);
7. Fotokopi sertifikat kompetensi Bahasa Inggris (TOEIC / TOEFL / IELTS / Cambridge Exam) yang disahkan Kadispora / Kadisdik tingkat Kota / Kabupaten;
8. Pasfoto berwarna 2X3 dan 4X6 masing-masing sebanyak 6 lembar;
9. Menyerahkan karya tulis dalam Bahasa Inggris (minimal 1000 kata) mengenai kegiatan selama mengikuti program dan rencana kegiatan pasca program.

D. Pembiayaan

1. Yang ditanggung masing-masing daerah adalah biaya pengurusan paspor di provinsi masing-masing.
2. Yang ditanggung oleh Pemerintah Provinsi adalah:
a. Uang saku peserta selama mengikuti program;
b. Biaya perjalanan dari tempat tinggal ke ibukota provinsi;
c. Akomodasi selama di ibukota provinsi.

3. Yang ditanggung oleh Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga adalah:
a. Biaya visa, airport tax dan tiket ke negara tujuan PP;
b. Transport dari ibukota provinsi – Jakarta (PP) untuk mengikuti program;
c. Perlengkapan dan akomodasi selama mengikuti program;
d. Biaya medical check up untuk peserta PPIK dan PPIA

E. Kuota Peserta

Seleksi peserta pada tiap provinsi agar merujuk kepada matriks alokasi kuota terlampir.

F. Waktu Pengiriman Hasil Seleksi

Data hasil seleksi program diharapkan dapat kami terima paling lambat tanggal 4 April 2011 dengan format sebagaimana terlampir. Setiap program terdiri atas unggulan pertama dan unggulan kedua (sebagai cadangan, dengan jenis kelamin yang sama) berdasarkan peringkat hasil seleksi. Jumlah calon peserta unggulan kedua (cadangan) sama dengan jumlah calon unggulan pertama.

TWAS-CAS Postgraduate Fellowship Programme for Scientists from Developing Countries 2011, China

The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China, and TWAS offer up to twenty fellowships per year to young scientists from developing countries (other than China) who wish to undertake the last year of their PhD research in China.

Level: PhD
Scholarship Description: TWAS-CAS Postgraduate Fellowships in natural sciences are tenable for a minimum period of six months to a maximum period of twelve months at the research institutions of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This is not a full PhD programme, but specifically enables PhD students to carry out all or part of the final year of their research programme in China.
CAS will provide a standard monthly allowance which should be used to cover living costs, such as accommodation, food and health insurance. Only emergency medical aid will be available, if necessary. The monthly stipend will not be convertible into foreign currency.

Applicants for these Fellowships must meet the following criteria:
* be a maximum age of 35 years on 31 December of the application year;
* be nationals of a developing country (other than China);
* hold a Master’s degree in a field of the natural sciences;
* be registered PhD students in their home country;
* be accepted at a CAS-listed institution participating in the scheme and provide an official acceptance letter from the host institution (see sample Acceptance Letter, page 6) to this effect; and
* provide evidence of proficiency in English or Chinese.
