Eligibility:(1) Self-supporting international students from countries specified by the foundation.

(2) With enough Japanese language ability for study/research.

(3) Enrollment period of the course currently enrolled in should be more than one year from October 2011

(4) Parents should not be working in Japan.

(5) Not holding a doctorate degree.

(6) Interested in international understanding and friendship and able to participate in the foundation’s exchange activities.

(7) Not receiving any other scholarships.

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, East Timor, Vietnam

Scholarship Description: Self-supporting international students from countries specified by the foundation , who are/ will be enrolled in the regular Scholarship amount per month: 120,000 Yen (undergraduate students) 180,000 Yen (graduate students) – A grant for participating in academic conference will also be provided.
