Purpose of award: To provide scholarships for the children and grandchildren of local IUE-CWA union elected officials.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be the children or grandchildren of IUE-CWA members who are now or have been local union elected officials. Applicants must also be accepted for admission or already enrolled as full-time students at an accredited college, university, nursing school or technical school offering college credit courses. All study must be completed at the undergraduate level. Applicants should demonstrate an interest in equality, improving the quality of life of others and community service. Applicants will also be evaluated on character, leadership and a desire to improve.
