Purpose of award: To provide financial assistance to residents of Kanawha, Boone, Clay, Putnam, Lincoln and Fayette counties in West Virginia who are interested in pursuing a college education.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be full-time students and possess good moral character as well as proven academic achievement.
Target applicant: High school students
Graduate school students
College students
Adult students
Minimum GPA: 2.5
Amount: $1,000.
Number of awards: 5. Scholarship may be renewable.
Deadline: February 17.
